Registration Opens for Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country’s
Annual Grape Stomp

Only 30 team spots available to compete in the crowd-favourite harvest tradition returning to
Oliver Community Park on September 20, 2026

Registration is now open for Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country’s annual Grape Stomp, with just 30 team spots available for one of the South Okanagan’s most anticipated harvest season traditions.

Taking place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 during Festival of the Grape at the Oliver Community Park, the high-energy competition invites 30 teams of three to climb into a barrel of Okanagan grapes and race against the clock to produce as much grape juice as possible in just three minutes. Complete with cheering crowds and creative costumes, the Grape Stomp has become one of the festival’s most entertaining and memorable attractions, with registration regularly selling out in advance.

Alongside the Grape Stomp, festival guests can enjoy tastings from local wineries, live entertainment, regional food vendors, artisan exhibitors and family-friendly activities throughout the day, making it an ideal way to experience harvest season in the South Okanagan.

The popular Youth Stomp will also return, giving younger festival-goers the chance to experience the excitement for themselves. Youth participation is complimentary with advance registration, with spaces available on a first come, first served basis. By bringing both youth and adult competitions together, the Grape Stomp creates a welcoming experience where families can participate, cheer each other on and celebrate together.

“The Grape Stomp captures everything people love about harvest season in the South Okanagan, combining a little family-friendly competition with an experience that leaves everyone smiling,” says Jennifer Busmann, Executive Director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “It’s a chance for friends, families, locals and visitors to get involved, embrace the fun and celebrate the traditions that make wine country so special.”

Adult team registration is $146.16 + tax per team of three and includes:

  • Festival admission for all three team members
  • Participation in the on-stage Grape Stomp competition
  • Includes limited tasting tokens and souvenir glass
  • Exclusive Grape Stomp souvenirs and treats from Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country

Registration is limited to just 30 teams and regularly sells out in advance. Early registration is encouraged. Participation in the Youth Stomp is complimentary but competitors must register in advance.
