The fair, which will be held from 16 to 18 March 2025, will host thousands of producers and visitors from all over the world and represents an extraordinary opportunity to present the new products and consolidate the leadership of Serena Wines 1881 in the global panorama of Prosecco.

Finally, there will be an exclusive aperitif, which will be held at the end of the first day of the event, Sunday 16 March starting from 5 pm, open to the press, partners and customers. A unique opportunity to meet, taste what’s new and discover the future of communication and mixing with Prosecco.

For over twenty years, Germany has been the beating heart of exports for Serena Wines 1881, which began to make itself known in the country with the introduction of wine on tap – a segment that, despite the continuous growth of the bottle, remains the largest slice of the company’s business – and the first bottles of sparkling Prosecco. Since then, growth has been continuous and has seen a great expansion from West to East, with a solid network of distributors that has helped consolidate the branded products at a national level.

“In 2024, Germany absorbed a total of 5.3 million bottles, of which approximately 1 million were Serena 1881 branded, confirming itself as our reference market, with a 3.5% growth in turnover compared to 2023 for the Serena 1881 brand. This is the result of a widespread presence in the territory and a strong distribution network – comments Luca Serena, CEO and representative of the fifth generation of the company and continues – in 2024 we sold around 600 thousand bottles of the Più Frizzante reference, closely followed by Prosecco DOC Treviso Frizzante, the second most requested product, and since 2025 we are among the first companies to have introduced sparkling wine in the screw cap version for mixing. In this context, the Corte delle Calli brand has also seen continuous growth, with regular increases of 10% per year thanks to the collaboration with strategic partners”.

Serena Wines 1881 continues to innovate, always remaining faithful to tradition and territory, but with an eye on growth, the future and digital communication.

“Our goal for 2025 is to further increase the presence of Serena 1881 in the less covered areas of Germany, such as the center of the country, and to strengthen the Ville d’Arfanta brand designed for quality wine shops and the specialist sector – Luca Serena concludes – We are also looking at strengthening our online presence, with a dedicated partner, while at the moment we prefer to stay outside the German large scale distribution with our branded products.”
