Czechia has its first MICHELIN Key Award hotels
Before the new MICHELIN Gastronomic Guide for the whole Czechia is published in December, there is already exciting news: several Czech hotels have been awarded the prestigious MICHELIN Key, the hotel equivalent of Michelin stars for restaurants, recognizing excellence in service, authenticity, design, and the overall guest experience. Hotels featured in the MICHELIN Guide undergo a rigorous evaluation focused on distinctiveness, location, quality of service, and their ability to create a memorable atmosphere.
Currently, more than ten hotels in Czechia have received this honour. The Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel stands out with two MICHELIN Keys, while one Key was awarded to Hotel BoHo Prague , Hotel Julius Prague, Four Seasons Prague , Augustine, a Luxury Collection, Prague , Andaz Prague , Mosaic House Design Hotel, and Almanac X Alcron Prague. Beyond the capital, Chateau Mcely , Hotel Perk in Šumperk, and Villa Julius &Emma in Karlovy Vary were also recognized.
Autumn Walks, Changing Leaves
A crisp fall day, bundled just enough to stay warm, and a landscape of colorful leaves before you. Can you imagine a more picturesque afternoon?
A few of our favorite autumn walks include the peaceful Wandering Trail along the Lužnice River, the hillside Ridge Route through sandstone rocks and nature preserves, and our beer trails that reward your efforts with a locally brewed pilsner or microbrew. Ambitious hikers can even try the 2,000-km (around 1,500-mile) Czech Trail around the entire country—bragging rights included.
