Internationally acclaimed Astra Lumina makes its Canadian debut

Astra Lumina Transforms Stanley Park into an Enchanted Night Walk
Under the Stars This Fall

Making its Canadian debut, the outdoor experience features nine astral-themed installations
brought to life through light, sound and celestial storytelling

This fall, Astra Lumina will make its Canadian debut in Vancouver, inviting guests on a captivating journey beneath the stars. Opening October 22, 2026, for a limited engagement, the self-guided outdoor night walk will transform the natural landscape of Stanley Park after dark through light, sound, and wonder.

Created and presented by Moment Factory, the Montreal-based acclaimed entertainment studio behind the Lumina Night Walk series, including Vallea Lumina in Whistler, as well as immersive concerts for artists such as Madonna and Billie Eilish, Astra Lumina is co-presented by Fever, the leading global live entertainment discovery platform.

Along an illuminated pathway through Stanley Park, nine thematic zones unfold through larger-than-life light installations, projections, 360-degree immersion, scenography and soundscapes, creating a series of celestial environments. Set to an original cosmic soundtrack, each chapter invites guests to follow the story of the stars as they descend to Earth before returning to the night sky.

“Following its success across the United States, Australia and Turkey, we are thrilled to bring Astra Lumina to Stanley Park for its Canadian debut,” said Jonathan St-Onge, executive director at Moment Factory Originals. “For 25 years, Moment Factory has created experiences that inspire wonder and connection, highlighting the unique places they inhabit and bringing them to life after dark. We invite guests to step into an enchanted night walk and experience the park’s magic in a new way, where the stars make a rare and luminous visit.”

Astra Lumina builds on the success of editions in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle and Philadelphia, which have welcomed more than two million visitors. Vancouver joins a growing roster of destinations for the experience.

Guests can complement their Astra Lumina experience with a selection of snacks and beverages available for purchase on-site.
