The Christmas Store at Potters Returns for the 2026 Holiday Season

The Christmas Store at Potters Returns for Its 22nd Season of Holiday Magic

Discover dazzling displays, seasonal decor and distinctive gifts at Western Canada’s largest Christmas store, open now to December 24

The most wonderful time of the year is here, as Western Canada’s largest Christmas store makes its dazzling debut for its 22nd season. Spanning 28,000 square feet, The Christmas Store at Potters is an immersive holiday experience that has become a beloved tradition in the Lower Mainland.

Open daily, now through December 24, the garden centre turned holiday wonderland invites visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas, whether they’re looking for distinctive gifts or holiday decor, or just in need of some festive atmosphere. More than 30 themed, designer-decorated Christmas trees, each with its own name and number, take centre stage alongside hand-picked ornaments, more than 50 styles of Christmas stockings, and an abundance of seasonal finds. Traditional toys, puzzles and games offer plenty of options for gifts that bring people together over the holidays.

For families, the much-loved Santa’s Report Card returns for its 16th year. This free Potters tradition gives kids a chance to show Santa all the chores they’ve completed and accomplishments they’re proud of before Christmas, adding a little extra excitement to the countdown to the big day.

Trees, Lights, and Trains: A World of Christmas Wonder
The holiday experience starts at the entrance, where this year’s new Christmas Traditions display sets a sparkling scene inspired by European Christmas trends. Thousands of shimmering crystals adorn towering trees in reds, greens, and white, illuminated by lights that bring the forest to life. Among the trees, polar bears, deer, owls, and bunnies gather to offer gifts to the Snow Queen on her treetop balcony.

Inside, the displays offer plenty more to discover. The 3,000-square-foot Dark Room is a gallery of light, with over 40 designs of nightlights, an extensive selection of Christmas-themed water lanterns, and LED Infinity Lights that create the illusion of two-way mirrors.

Nearby, Train Town has expanded, with an electric train emerging from the wall and travelling through a miniature village filled with houses, shops, and moving carousels. Tiny felt mice ornaments are everywhere, making this a very charming stop. Collectors will delight in Canada’s largest selection of whimsical mouse decorations, while rail enthusiasts can shop for a new train.

Gifts, Goodies, and Seasonal Finds
The Christmas Store makes it easy to browse by interest, with everything from Canadian-made food products to collectibles, fashion, and gifts for pets. The Gourmet Food selection brings together local favourites and playful finds, including Potters’ best-selling Bacon Ketchup and Dill Pickle Ketchup, more than 40 flavours of hot chocolate, and jellies, syrups, and sauces from Krause Berry Farms and The Preservatory. Coffee syrups from Winnipeg’s Gourmet Inspirations offer a fun way to dress up seasonal drinks, while the ever-popular “Bags of Poop,” featuring chocolate-coated toffee in whimsical packaging, and Chocolate Pizza Slices in three flavours deliver some tasty humour.

Squishie Headquarters offers more than 50 designs of the trendy squeezable toys, making it a colourful stop for anyone looking for a fun, affordable gift. Meanwhile, Petland celebrates the four-legged members of the family with pet-themed ornaments, bow ties, cushions, and holiday stockings.

Nostalgia takes the spotlight in the Coca-Cola area, where an authentic 1950s diner-inspired display complete with a classic black-and-white checkered floor sets the scene for a collection of branded ornaments and collectibles. Across the store, the Great Britain section brings a touch of British charm with tinned cookies, Corgi-themed mugs, dishware, and Union Jack mugs displayed inside a classic red telephone box.

Gift shopping continues in the Men-Zone, where toques, T-shirts, soaps, slippers, and hot sauce offer an assortment of practical and playful presents guys will love. For those looking for something cozy and stylish, the Women’s Fashions section features sweaters, tops, and loungewear, along with purses, gloves, headwear, faux-fur coats and jackets.

With its imaginative displays, extensive selection of seasonal decor and gifts, and distinctive shopping areas, The Christmas Store at Potters offers visitors plenty of reasons to make it part of their holiday traditions.
