The Vancouver International Auto Show is pleased to announce that the Green Ride and Drive will return for a second year, giving guests the opportunity to test-drive some of the world’s leading eco-friendly vehicles from top manufacturers including Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Cadillac, Smart and Ford.
From hybrids to completely electric, zero-emission vehicles, each manufacturer offers their own unique technology, design and perspective on environmentally friendly transportation. The Green Ride and Drive will give Auto Show guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel of newest and most efficient vehicles on the road today.
“We received extremely positive feedback from guests that participated in our first-ever Green Ride and Drive last year,” says Vancouver International Auto Show Executive Director Paul McGeachie. “Through collaboration with the City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Convention Centre, we are thrilled to once again offer this exciting feature to ours guests.”
Vehicles slated to take part in the Green Ride and Drive include: Nissan Leaf, Infiniti Q50H, Infiniti QX60H, Toyota Hylander Hybrid, Toyota Camry Hybrid, Toyota Prius, Toyota Prius C, Lexus CT Hybrid, Lexus RXH Hybrid, Cadillac ELR and Smart EV, and Friday to Sunday only, the Ford Focus Electric, Ford Fusion Energi and Lincoln MKZ hybrid.
The Green Ride and Drive will take place on Canada Place roadway, located in front of the Vancouver Convention Centre. Guests will be able to reserve their test-drive onsite on a first-come basis.
