FlyOver Canada Hosts Vancouver’s Ultimate Canada Day Fireworks Party

Patriotic Party-Goers of All Ages Welcome to Canada Place Pier for
Festivities and FlyOver Canada’s Third Annual Fireworks Party

The Canada Day ‘experts’ at FlyOver Canada host their annual fireworks party on July 1, 2015 at 8pm at Canada Place. Adults and families of all ages are invited to the celebration – which sells out yearly – to take in the fireworks show from a private viewing zone on the ‘flight deck’, while enjoying Vancouver’s hottest attraction FlyOver Canada, a simulated aerial adventure over Canada’s most stunning landscapes.

In addition to the fireworks, ride, and summer beats spun by DJ Mike Circa, guests will enjoy burgers and traditionally Canadian poutine served up by favourite local burger chain Vera’s Burger Shack. Cold refreshments are included and beer and wine will be available for purchase by those 19 years of age and older.

“Canada Day is a particularly special day for those of us at FlyOver Canada,” says Stephen Geddes, President of Soaring Attractions LP and Co-founder of FlyOver Canada. “We get to show off our country the other 364 days of the year, but the annual Canada Day festivities at Canada Place add an extra dose of patriotism that our guests and staff really embrace.  The evening views of the fireworks and the rest of Coal Harbour are truly spectacular and make for a wonderful atmosphere.”

Many guests describe feeling newly inspired in their love for Canada after experiencing FlyOver Canada. What better way to recognize the country’s birthday than to see it in all its glory on the 20-metre half-spherical screen. Strapped into seats with their feet dangling, riders will tilt, dip, and dive over the prairies’ gold pastures, the Rocky Mountains’ rugged and towering peaks, the cascading Niagara Falls, and other spectacular scenes with refreshing breezes, scents, and mists to create a true feeling of flight!

On July 1, FlyOver Canada will be open to the public from 9am-6pm, with rides commencing every 15 minutes. Due to high demand on Canada Day, only FastLane bookings are accepted, with some standby General Admission tickets available on the day. As such, FlyOver Canada recommends guests book in advance online.

FlyOver Canada welcomes guests of all ages, however, children must be at least 102cm (40″) to participate on the ride (approximate height of average an 4 year-old). Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian aged 14 years or older.
