Redfish Kids Clothing Releases a Bold and Vibrant Summer 2015 Collection

Inspired by the vibrancy of summer gardens and harnessing the playful spirit of childhood, Redfish Kids launches a new collection of silhouettes and patterns for summer.

The Summer 2015 Collection blends floral bouquet patterns and linear designs, with the simple silhouettes and durable fabrics that Redfish Kids is known for. Every piece is lovingly designed and made in Vancouver, on Canada’s west coast, with influences from the cosmopolitan cities of Asia, where designer Lorraine Kitsos spent several years.

Girls will delight at the two Redfish classic dresses in new vibrant patterns: the fun A-line Swing Dress ($54) has hidden pockets, perfect for collecting treasures, and features four new summer patterns – hip newsprint, beach ball blue, new artisan or garden party. The Party Dress ($78) features a contrasting Mandarin collar, front or back tie bow and bodice with Chinese frog details, available in new colours adventurer and buzz. Mix up both looks by adding karate pants ($48) or cropped leggings ($32-38).

For boys, the super-cool Skater Shorts ($36) offer freedom with a loose fit and pull-on-and-go elastic waistband, available in beach ball grey, midnight batik and surf’s up black. Pair with a Caraway Pullover ($64) in contrasting colours – shine or gleam – for effortless summer style.

For the little ones, another Redfish signature has been given a contemporary summer flare with the Baby Kimono Onesie ($48). This simple straight seam, wrap-style Kimono Onesie is intended to be worn alone during the warmer months or layered over leggings and a tee for cooler days. Available this summer in new colours: beach ball grey, new artisan, explorer, pinwheel or precious pansies.

Co-founder Kristy Brinkley says, “Continuing our dedication to versatility and the expression of individuality, our Summer 2015 Collection is bursting with crisp architectural lines that are easily layered and worn together; transforming and enduring with growing children, as well as being able to hold up to sun, sand and lots of wash and wear.”
