Von Hardenberg Candles finished the 2014 year with successful events at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market, Circle Craft, North Vancouver Holiday Market, and our Thornhill Artisan Fair. We now have many more mail order requests throughout B.C. Our Thornhill Artisan Fair featured many new and interesting artisans as well as some popular repeat artisans that our customers had requested. It is a unique, high quality, welcoming and fun event during the holiday season.

Our repeat customer base continues to grow and although we have many requests from retail stores to carry our candles and customers asking to purchase candles from a store, we have maintained our goal of selling direct to our customers. Selling direct enables us to give you the best value. Our Candle Shop in Maple Ridge has developed a reputation of its own and we see an increasing number of customers come to visit and purchase by appointment. The introduction of our Lavender Pillows was received very well. Our soap has now developed a steady customer base and we are pleased about that. We only make one kind of soap.

2015 is shaping up to be a busy season. We have more dates at the Vancouver Farmer’s Market throughout the seasons, Circle Craft, and our Thornhill Artisan Fair. The Vancouver Airport through the Craft House is now selling our candles. Please keep an eye on our List of Events for the most up to date information on where you can find us. This list will continue to grow as the season progresses. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and for all of you who are inquiring about our candles daily. Klaus and I have often said that we are so fortunate to have the best customers we could imagine. We look forward to meeting you all.
