Singletree Welcomes the Harvest with Community Social Winery Celebrates Fraser Valley

 

Singletree Winery invites the community for its first annual Mt. Lehman Community Social, a free event for the community to connect, socialize, and come together as one. Bring a favourite dish to share at a potluck, family-style feast, with the Mt. Lehman Community Association sponsoring live music from the Prairie Dance Club.

New vintages of Singletree wine will be available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle, alongside craft beer on tap from a local brewery, and other non-alcoholic beverages.

 

Laura Preckel of Singletree says, “We want to bring old neighbours and new friends together. We’re inviting the Mt. Lehman community, their friends and family to bring a dish and to raise a glass with us. It’s about giving back to our community through sharing. And what a better way to do that than with a glass of wine?”

•Community revelers sipping wine, eating, dancing, amongst Singletree’s lush estate vineyards in the Mt. Lehman area of Abbotsford.

•Etsell family member Laura Preckel welcoming the community to the first annual event.

•Live music by Langley alternative folk-rockers Prairie Dance Club from 7 to 10pm.

•Children playing in the “kids corner” with outdoor games, arts & crafts and a vintage popcorn machine.

•Community guests enjoying an al fresco family-style potluck dinner under lights, served alongside Singletree wine, local craft beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Visit Singletree Winery, a small, family-operated vineyard located in Mt. Lehman, in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley. The wines are crafted by their second generation family member Andrew Etsell, made in Summerland under the guidance of winemaker Matt Dumayne.

The winery is now open daily for visitors, Wednesday through Sunday from 12noon to 5:30pm.
