Western Canada’s largest Christmas store now open in South Surrey
Every fall, over nine bustling weeks, BC’s busiest elves prepare Potters Nurseries and its 28,000 square-foot space with all things Christmas. Santa’s workshop is readied, the lights in Mr. and Mrs. Claus’ House are turned on, and Western Canada’s largest Christmas store throws open its doors.
Potters’ buyers have shopped the world, keeping an eye out for the most unique items with holiday “wow” factor. The store brims with colourful ornaments, wreaths, garlands and the very latest in Christmas lighting – from battery-operated lights for wreaths to tree light sets in various themes.
Dazzling though Potters’ décor may be, this is also the place for quirky gifts. Whether you’re looking for stocking stuffers like decks of cards featuring superheroes, a battery-operated train in a tin, zoom helicopters, a fishing- or equestrian-related bauble for the tree, the ultimate pair of gardening gloves for your green-thumbed relative – or fun culinary-themed gifts like Bacon Ketchup, or a Book of Hot Sauces (with small bottles of 12 different hot sauces) – you’ll find something for everyone on your list.
On weekends, festive live music enhances the holiday spirit, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus making appearances at the store starting November 26 from 10 am – 3 pm on Saturdays and from 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays, through mid-December.
