Vancouver Foodster presents the Tiramisu Challenge 

Welcome to the Vancouver Foodster Tiramisu Challenge. Restaurants and bakeries from the city were invited to create a Tiramisu creation to enter into this challenge, . Each spot will be featuring their Tiramisu creations on their menu now through December 11, 2016.

Here are some of the unique creations in this challenge.

Description: Our Tiramisu-Chocolat has been a mainstay on our menu since we first opened and is our tiramisu in a cake form.  The Tiramisu-Chocolat is composed of a coffee mascarpone cream, 70% dark chocolate mousse, ladyfinger sponge cake and espresso syrup.

Ingredients: mascarpone cheese, whipping cream, eggs, sugar, espresso, coffee liqueur, 70% dark couverture, flour, gelatin

Description: House made orange chocolate lady fingers layered with espresso – marsala custard, orange-scented whipped cream, and candied orange-cocoanib crunch.

Voting: The public is invited to order these Tiramisu creations at the participating restaurants keeping in mind this criteria – originality, creativity, uniqueness,  traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste. People can vote the same day after trying the creation and they can vote once a day throughout the promotion. People will be encouraged to Vote for their favourites now through December 11, 2016.

With a smartphone, customers will be able to vote from their table in the restaurant right after they have eaten the Tiramisu creation.

We will announce the winning restaurants and their Tiramisu creations on December 12, 2016.
