The Event: The ice will be glowing with the warmth of community and creativity as Canada Ice Dance Theatre presents Holiday On Ice from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday December 17, at the West End Community Centre’s Ice Rink.
Dress for the holidays and bring the whole family for an all-ages community ice-skating event featuring games on ice, lessons by trained instructors, and performances by competitive figure skaters. Craft sales, Christmas goodies, and a photo opportunity with Santa Claus himself will all make for an enjoyable afternoon.
The Organization: Canada Ice Dance Theatre began in 1976 and has been providing a platform for a professional ensemble of artists to see skating grow into an art-form and become the basis of a mature theatre.
