The Cascade Room is hosting a Havana Club Rum Seminar & Tasting on Tuesday, February 14thfrom 3 to 4 pm. The event will offer guests an opportunity to sip, taste and learn about Havana Club Rum from Brand Ambassador Donnie Wheeler. Guests will enjoy complimentary rum samples and snacks during the educational — and fun! — seminar. No reservations are required for the seminar.
Post-seminar/tasting, the rum love will continue to flow all evening, with cocktails and food features available for purchase. Yonah Sweetapple, Cascade Room’s Bar Manager, and a guest bar spot with Donnie Wheeler (Havana Club’s Brand Ambassador), will be mixing up classic cocktails featuring Havana Club, including Mojitos and Hemingway Daiquiris. From the kitchen, Chef Tim Evans will be offering Cuban-inspired feature dishes that night, including: a Cuban Sandwich loaded with ham and pulled pork; Cuban Goat Stew with rice and coconut; spicy Cuban Mojo Wings (tossed in lime, cilantro, garlic, oregano, cumin and pepper); and a Banana Rum Custard Tart.
