BBQ Season Kicks-Off This Sunday

 

Barn Burner BBQ returns to Chilliwack

WHAT:
BBQ season in BC kicks-off at the third annual Barn Burner BBQ (BBBBQ) event with family-friendly activities and a day of fully-sanctioned BBQ competition attracting 20 competing teams from across the Pacific Northwest. The event is free to attend with donations accepted upon entry for the Full Cupboard. BBQ teams compete for a shared Grand Prize of $5,000 cash and the coveted title of Grand Champion of the 2017 Barn Burner BBQ.

At the Farm Store (4540 Simmons Road, Chilliwack, BC)
WHEN:
Sunday, April 9 (10:00am- 4:30pm)
  • 10:00 am: Event Opens
  • 11:00 am: Chicken competition turn-in (cooked for approximately 4 hours)
  • 12:00 pm: Ribs competition turn-in (cooked for approximately 6 hours)
  • 1:00 pm: Pork competition turn-in (cooked for approximately 12 hours)
  • 2:00 pm: Brisket competition turn-in (cooked for approximately 12-16 hours)
  • 3:00 pm: Black Box competition turn-in
  • 4:30 pm: Awards ceremony & Grand Championship winner announced

  • BBQ samples offered by Johnston’s Pork trailer and Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry.

PARKING:
