District 13 PresentsMockingjay: The Musicalconcludes the adventures of Katniss Everdeen as she joins the rebels of District 13 in taking down President Snow and the Capitol.

Along with action-packed battles and espionage, the love triangle continues as Katniss must finally choose between her dearest friend Gale and her fellow tribute Peeta, who has been brainwashed to kill her. Love can be hard sometimes, especially in a teen-angst dystopian future. To counteract the darkness, this musical is full of fun pop musical parodies that will get your toes tapping.

★★★★ “The puns, barbs and self-referential jokes come so quickly, you might want to see it a second time.” —Shawn Conner, the Vancouver Sun

Mockingjay: The Musical is the final pop culture parody sequel of Suzanne Collins action-packed novel and feature films. Along with skewering the plot, characters, and themes from the original story, Mockingjay: The Musical is packed with upbeat mainstream pop songs with creative new lyrics.

Hunger Games: The Musical was a huge success at the 2015 Vancouver Fringe Festival with consistently sold-out shows making it one of the hottest tickets in town. Last year’s Catching Fire: The Musical also packed out the house. District 13 Presents have assembled almost everyone from the original cast for this final go around.

Catching Fire: The Musical is a hilarious, high-energy show featuring song, dance, joy, laughter, death, despair, CPR, sharks, slings, arrows and outrageous fortune. There is really no excuse not to see this show.” —Tom Radcliffe, Vancouver Actor
