Laugh Out the Old Year and Welcome the New with VTSL’s Year In Review

This past year was filled with the rise of avocado toast, a bit too much covfefe, and the perennial favourite – bike lanes. Vancouver TheatreSports’™ 2017 Year In Review takes an improvised look at these hilarious headliners and many more as we prepare for the coming year. No event is safe from ridicule and as always, the scenarios will be based on audience suggestions challenging our quick-witted improvisers to create instant, unscripted comedy. Nostalgic or not, there’s no way you’ll be able to keep from laughing.

Ring in 2018 with a smile on your face, 2017 Year In Review runs from December 26 to 31, with a special New Year’s Eve celebration on Sunday, December 31. Book your tickets for the late-late show at 11:15 pm on December 31 and enjoy party favours and a complimentary glass of bubbly as we welcome all the hilarity 2018 is sure to offer. This year may have been a laugh and a half but we can’t wait to do it all over again.

Prices for the Tuesday through Saturday shows start from $10.75. The New Year’s Eve shows have special pricing ranging from $28 – $39.50. All shows take place at Vancouver TheatreSports’™ home theatre, The Improv Centre on Granville Island. “With all the bad news out there, everyone needs a good laugh right now,” says Executive Director Jay Ono. “It’s been said that ‘Laughter is the best medicine’ and I truly believe that.”

> 11:15 pm (60 minutes)

New Year’s Eve performances on Sunday, December 31st
> 7:30 pm (90 minutes)
> 9:30 pm (90 minutes)
> 11:15 pm (75 minutes) includes party favours and a complimentary glass of bubbly.

Laugh out the old year and welcome the new as VTSL revisits the top stories, celebrity scandals and political fiascos with 2017 Year In Review.
