Third Annual Sip and Savour Presented by numpfer is a Sell Out

Sparkly Fundraising Options Still Available

Thanks to overwhelming local support, all tickets for the third annual Sip and Savour presented by numpfer have been purchased. The annual grazing, mingling and shopping event benefits BC Women’s Newborn ICU at North Vancouver’s Pipe Shop on November 19th. Those who still want to support the incredible cause still have options – direct donations can be made to BC Women’s, or, a a sparklier option, select LOLO Jewellery bracelets can be purchased online with 50 percent of proceeds being donated up to $7,500 (see below for details).
More than 250 guests will join event hosts Tamara Taggartnumpfer, BC Women’s Hospital Foundation, and a number of local small businesses at the scenic North Shore Pipe Shop. The event is generously designed and executed with the donation of time and resources from Filosophi Events and Epic Events.

Event-goers will sample food and drink from some of Vancouver’s most sought after locales like The Mackenzie Room,  TUC Craft Kitchen, BETA5 Chocolates, H Tasting Lounge, Juniper, Arbor and more. A silent auction featuring more than 80 items valued at over $15,000 will also be available for bids. Auction sponsors include: AnnaLena, CookCulture, Jam Cafe, Knifewear, Matchstick Coffee, MeeT, Nuba, Road 13 Vineyards, SPUD, Two Rivers Meats, Uno Gelato, Beluga Baby, numpfer, Arc’teryx, Bed Bath and Beyond, Oak + Fort, Plenty, Saje Wellness, Barre Fitness, Soulcycle, EVO, and The Westin Bayshore.

Guests, sponsors and supporters will celebrate together with the goal of raising $50,000 to purchase a much-needed Maquet Servo-n neonatal ventilator. For many premature and critically ill babies in the NICU, respiratory support literally means the difference between life and death. Sip and Savour’s first two events raised funds towards the purchase of an incubator and phototherapy system.

About numpfer
Named after founder Sarah Robbins’ childhood nickname, numpfer is an organic, multi-function baby product line made in Vancouver, British Columbia. The stylish and highly absorbent, ‘must have’ bibs work triple time as bib, washcloth and burp cloth. The no-fuss, side-tie design offers easy fastening allowing baby to stay dry, cozy and comfortable. The blanket line is equally essential for swaddling, and cuddling with luxurious softness against baby’s delicate skin.
numpfer is a result of Sarah’s observations of the nurses using washcloths as bibs during her experience at BC Women’s NICU. Once home Sarah couldn’t find the functional, absorbent, soft and stylish bib she was searching for – so she created  her own. The result was numpfer – a line of multi-use, ultra soft bibs that has grown to include blankets – and is now sold in 45 stores all over the world.
