Whistler warms up at the Pangea Pod Hotel

Pangea, Canada’s first pod-style hotel, opened in August of this year, offering a new style of accommodation for solo and price conscious travellers. Ladies Night – The Suite Life
An all-new one- or two-night getaway package created exclusively for groups of female friends. Take over one of Pangea’s thoughtfully designed “suites,” where everyone in your party has their own private pod, outfitted with a double memory-foam mattress. After settling in, enjoy a craft cocktail in The Living Room before returning to your suite for a manicure provided by a professional beautician in your private pod, done while you sip on a glass of bubbles. Pizza and cocktails follow in The Living Room or on The Rooftop Patio, where the revelry continues until 1am (and even later out in the Village, should you like). Come the morning, indulge in Pangea’s breakfast menu anytime until 1pm. Two-night guests will also be treated to a morning yoga class at a nearby studio, as well as charcuterie boards and wine (and of course breakfast on your last morning).

Cornucopia – Rooftop Rendezvous
Cornucopia, Whistler’s annual no-holds-barred celebration of food and drink, returns in November, and Pangea joins in the festivities Thursday, November 15, on its communal Rooftop Patio. From 3pm to 5:30pm, take in sweeping views of the Village while indulging in bites from Pangea’s winter menu plus up to three cocktails (from a selection of six) made with spirits from acclaimed craft distillery Sons of Vancouver. Sons of Vancouver founder and distiller James Lester will be on hand to mix and pour.

Corporate Takeover (and Sleepover)
Companies looking to take employees on an out-of-the-box corporate event are invited to take over a suite (or the entire property if booked sufficiently in advance). Upon checking into their suites, employees will be treated to one of Pangea’s signature cocktails, before embarking on a team-building experience at Escape! Whistler. After, they’ll return to relax and enjoy pizza and beer in The Living Room or on The Rooftop Patio. The following morning, Pangea’s in-house chefs and baristas will prepare gourmet breakfast and coffee before it’s back to the grind. Activities for two-night stays can be arranged upon request.
