PINKIES UP FOR ANNUAL PRINCESS TEA PARTY

Discover the treasures of the sea for an afternoon of mermaid fun and tea
for Canuck Place Fundraiser at Fairmont Vancouver Airport

Just ask Cinderella…a fairy godmother can be a great help and on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, everyone can be a regal wanna-be as well as lend a helping hand at the fifth annual Princess Tea Party at Fairmont Vancouver Airport to benefit Canuck Place.

This year’s theme is all about the sea and the afternoon tea is fit for a mermaid with a special children’s edition of Fairmont afternoon tea, musical entertainment and photo booth, hosted by Elsa and Ariel. Tickets are $49 for children 12 and under and adults are $99 with proceeds to Canuck Place. A silent auction is available, and complimentary parking is included. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 604-248-3281 or by email at vancouverairport@nullfairmont.com.

Wee royals can don their best party dress, flip their mermaid tail on the red carpet and receive a tiara (or crown). Following tea, a trio of princesses from some of the most beloved movies will make a special appearance to pose in the photo booth with guests, distribute fairy dust for wishes and lead sing-a-longs.

The Princess Tea menu will include freshly baked sweet butter and local stone fruit scones with clotted cream and homemade fruit preserve, assorted party sandwiches like grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly roll, egg salad, and ham. For a sweet ending there will be a starfish orange sweet dough cookie, seashell macaron, pearl chocolate truffle, and coral reef cupcakes.
