HARVEST COMMUNITY FOODS INTRODUCES EXPANSIVE RANGE OF ORGANIC HOUSE-MADE GOODS
Chinatown eatery’s farm-to-table retail products delight diners,
fall gatherings, and holiday gift giving
The neighbourhood haven for bringing sustainable fare is stocked with an expanded line of house-made products that are equally delicious and health-conscious. Harvest Community Foods’ retail line includes a variety of sweet and savoury culinary goods to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner cravings.
For breakfast, try Harvest’s house yoghurt with freshly made granola; Nootka flower honey and jams, including raspberry and strawberry from Foxglove Farm, are a perfect sweet topping. For lunch, hearty chicken soup can be swiftly prepared with Harvest’s organic chicken broth. Dinner is made simple for fans of Burdock & Co’s weekly Monday series Disco Dumplings; rejoice to find classic burdock and pork dumplings available frozen for $10 per bag (10 dumplings).
Catering to a range of palates, diners may choose sweet and savoury sauces to complement their favourite dishes. New offerings include sweet and heirloom apples & vanilla bean sauce; and savoury smoked chili garlic. Don’t forget pickled vegetables, such as pickled fennel escabeche and chili garlic pickled green beans – which make the perfect side dishes for heartier meals. All Harvest products are beautifully packaged and eye-catching with vibrant custom labels. Whether for summer BBQ’s or picnics to fall and winter gatherings, Harvest’s seasonal house-made products make the perfect gifts with no wrapping necessary.
“We are excited to share a wide variety of house-made products,” says Gabriella Meyer, chef and partner of Harvest Community Foods. “We want to cater to our diverse community and guests by creating products people will cherish. We take pride in using only the freshest organic and seasonal ingredients that diners can take home and share with their loved ones.”
Harvest Community Foods is now open Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm; and Saturday & Sunday, 11:00am to 6:30pm. Guests are welcome for delicious noodle bowls and to browse the collection of local produce and artisanal goods. For more information, visit Harvestunion.ca.
