HAVANA ON COMMERCIAL DRIVE RAISES THE CURTAIN ON NEW “DINNER & A SHOW” SERIES
Commercial Drive Favourite Offers a Complete Evening of Entertainment
The teams behind Commercial Drive’s popular Havana Restaurant and Havana Theatre are pleased to announce a new Dinner & A Show package, available Sunday and Monday nights, starting February 2, 2020.
A cornerstone of Vancouver’s independent arts scene, the newly renovated, 60-seat Havana Theatre — under the direction of acclaimed actor, improv comedian and artistic manager Alistair Cook — is expanding the venue’s nightly programming while partnering with the adjoined restaurant to provide a full evening of dining and entertainment. Guests may book tickets to their preferred show via Showpass and select the option of adding a pre- or post-show tasting menu.
Created by chef Andrew Hounslow, Havana’s first-ever tasting menu is offered for $30 per person with the option of cocktail and wine pairing additions. Guests can expect a hybrid of authentic Cuban flavours and Pacific Northwest panache in offerings such as Tostones, Fish Tacos, Carribean Coconut Curry and Paella Negra, as well as dessert options such as Tres Leche Cake and Double Chocolate Brownie Parfait.
