Keep Calm and Hula On at Pig Out Festival: Saturday May 2, 2020
Celebrate the ninth annual event with a luau in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country
Look no further than the Okanagan Valley for a taste of the tropics this spring with Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country’s popular Pig Out Festival, taking place on May 2, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm at Covert Farms Family Estate. The one-day outdoor food and wine festival, complete with a full pig roast, is fit for the whole ohana!
Say aloha to over 1,000 people in one of the warmest and driest areas of Western Canada, famous for its fertile, sunny slopes. The ideal environment for a lei’d back day of family fun, practice your hula atop Covert Farms’ giant bouncy pillow and keep your cool with their unique water feature.
“Pig Out Festival is all about coming together in celebration of a creative culinary theme to kick-off the season,” says Jennifer Busmann, Executive Director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. “Guests can expect lively music, costume contests and an abundance of delicious food and wine.”
All 47 Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country members will be pouring new releases and fan favourites, alongside Hawaiian-themed pork dishes from the region’s most notable culinary teams including Platinum Bench Artisan Bakery, Watermark Beach Resort and Oliver Eats.
