Honolulu Coffee Adds Matcha-Based Beverages for ‘March Matcha Madness’

Hot, Cold Creations Take Centre Stage at Honolulu Coffee for ‘March Matcha Madness’

Green tea lovers can meet their matcha as new hot and cold beverages and treats make limited-time-only appearances on the menu during March Matcha Madness at Honolulu Coffee Vancouver’s cafés in downtown Vancouver (888 Nelson Street) and Kerrisdale (2098 W. 41st Ave) starting today.

Available until Tuesday, March 31, the new lineup of green tea-based beverages include the cold Nitro Soy Matcha Latte (organic Amai Matcha powder, soy milk, infused with nitrogen), served with Matcha Breakfast Cookie, $8; and the hot Mint Matcha Latte (organic Amai Matcha powder, milk, housemade fresh mint syrup), served with a Matcha Walnut Brownie, $8.

Throughout the month, the Matcha Breakfast Cookie and Matcha Walnut Brownie are also available for $2.50 and $4 each, respectively, on their own or as a side order for any beverage, which includes two new feature drinks now available at both locations:

  • Kaiulani Rose Milk Tea — a botanical blend of Kaiulani rose petals and Egyptian chamomile paired with oat milk, housemade vanilla and cinnamon syrups and garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon, available in 12-oz. hot ($7) or 16-oz iced ($7.5) varieties;
  • Fresh Mint Latte — espresso and whole milk blended together with housemade fresh mint syrup, available in 12-oz. hot ($6) or 16-oz. iced ($6.5) varieties.
