The award-winning restaurant group has made sure there’s something for everyone this year, from dazzling meals to sweet treats and stocking stuffers.

Christmas in Venice at Giovane Bacaro — December 6
Kick off your holiday season in style at Giovane Bacaro’s Christmas in Venice, taking place December 6. Featuring organic, biodynamic and naturally made wines from four different Venetian winemakers, priced at $45 per person, the ticket includes a welcome cocktail with house-made chips, four cicchetti (snacks) of your choice, served with a glass of bubbles, as well as a $5 donation to the BC Hospitality Foundation. In addition, guests can purchase selected wines at half-price from The Living Vine portfolio and enjoy complimentary corkage on wines brought in from the Veneto region. Reservations can be made online.

Panettone
Di Beppe and Giovane Caffè will exclusively carry locally-produced artisanal panettone from Bakery Antise. Made entirely by hand through a meticulous 30-hour process, baker and pastry chef Emiddio Isernia pairs Italian tradition with local B.C. ingredients to present his twist on the panettone. With a recipe in development for over two years, the results are masterful — top quality local ingredients, a lofty, moist and buttery crumb, along with perfectly punchy and balanced flavour profiles. Believed to be the best panettone available in Vancouver, it’s available in limited quantities until the end of December. Offered at Giovane Caffè and Di Beppe for $45 and available in three flavours:

Cioccolato – milk chocolate
Limoncello – lemon zest, limoncello-infused white chocolate ganache
Classico – candied orange, Cedro and raisins

Kitchen Table Gift Cards
Buy a $100 gift card from any Kitchen Table restaurant and receive a $20 voucher. The promotion runs now until December 23, and the voucher is valid at any Kitchen Table restaurant from January 1 – March 1. Cannot be combined with other offers. No cash value. Electronic gift cards can be purchased online.

For the Pizza Lover
Pizza lovers will feel truly seen with a Pizzeria Farina gift basket ($50), including must-haves like a branded tote, cozy fleece blanket, and signature house-made infused oils. Or for a perfect stocking stuffer, pick up a Pizzeria Farina t-shirt, available at both Pizzeria Farina and North Vancouver’s Farina a Legna. Hot tip: on T-shirt Tuesdays, the shirts are offered at 50% off.

Festive Cheer
Spice up the stocking or shop for the cocktail enthusiast with bottled cocktails from Di Beppe and Pourhouse, including classics like the Negroni and Old Fashioned. Prefer to enjoy your festive cheer on site? Drop into Pourhouse for a list of seasonal libations that features house-made eggnog, mulled wine and a hot toddy that warms even on the wettest of Vancouver nights.

Celebrate the Season at Carlino
At Carlino restaurant, opening December 1, guests can enjoy a seasonal fai tu menu experience designed by Chef Mark Perrier. Available for small intimate celebrations or large parties in the private dining room, fai tu is an Italian expression that pays homage to the chef by giving them a free hand to select your meal — loosely translated, it means “you pick.” Rotating weekly, Chef Perrier’s fai tu menu ($85 per person) includes some of his favourite dishes, as well as new recipes and seasonal flavours.

Holiday lunching at Ask For Luigi
Just in time for holiday hosting, Railtown favourite Ask For Luigi is making its grand re-opening for lunch service, available Monday through Friday beginning Monday, December 13 with a menu of comfort fare and neighbourhood favourites like Luigi’s Meatballs, house-made Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni alla Bolognese.
