While snow blankets the vineyards here in the South Okanagan, we’ll be bringing some of our wonderful wine country characters to wine lovers in both Calgary and Victoria over the next week with our popular Savour the Sun Wine Dinners:

Savour the Sun Calgary – February 24th

Sip and savour wines from Oliver Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country with a delicious wine dinner on Thursday February 24th, 2022, at Calgary’s Yellow Door Bistro

Join Us as we take guests on a journey through the Golden Mile.

Executive Chef Quinn Staple will prepare an ingredient-driven, five-course feast ( For the menu – CLICK HERE) each dish carefully paired with wines from two iconic wineries from the famed Golden Mile Bench, just south of Oliver in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley.. Culmina Family Estate Winery will present a selection of wines to guests, including signature 2016 Hypothesis Bordeaux-style blend, 2017 Dilemma Chardonnay and 2020 Decora Riesling, all exceptional examples of the region’s extraordinary terroir. From Gold Hill Winery, winemaker and general manager Val Tait will share her experiences as viticulturist and winemaker in the Okanagan wine industry for the past three decades, along with a taste of her artisanal approach to wine-growing via Gold Hill’s small lot, hand-crafted wines: 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, 2015 Syrah and 2015 Cabernet Franc.

Representatives from each winery will tell the story of their wines to the room, as each wine is presented, creating an interactive dining experience.

Savour the Sun Victoria – March 9th

Join Us as we take guests on an adventure discovering the gems of
Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.

Chef Marcelo Najarro and his team will prepare a five-course menu focusing on ingredients grown by their dedicated farmers on nearby 10 Acres Farm, with each dish carefully paired with wines from four small, independent wineries located in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.

Meet the Characters of our region as they share the stories of their craft throughout the evening of carefully selected, limited edition wines. Gold Hill Winery’s artisanal approach is evident in their small lot, handcrafted wines from the Golden Mile Bench, and guests can enjoy their 2020 Sauvignon Blanc and 2014 Grand Vin. With a dedication to hands-on farming and creation of wines that express a sense of place, Intersection Estate Winerywill be pouring their 2019 Viognier Marsanne, 2017 Silica Merlot, and rare Amarone-style 2014 Appassimento. One of the region’s newer and northern-most wineries, Ramification Cellars will pour their Sparkling Celebration Rosé and 2019 Verification Pinot Noir and vinAmité Cellars, just south of Oliver will present their 2019 Petit Verdot and Ouest Port-style to finish the evening.
