The inaugural Vancouver Cocktail Week – a toast to the art of mixology and a celebration of our city’s expansive bartending talent – takes place March 6 to 10. The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver is thrilled to be taking part with a pair of events at its signature dining venues, H2 Rotisserie & Bar and H Tasting Lounge.
H2 Rotisserie & Bar Presents: Mixing it up with Fever-Tree
Sunday, March 6
Join Kaitlyn Stewart, the 2017 global Diageo World Class champion, in H2 Rotisserie & Bar for an educational afternoon of cocktail mixing and tastings paired with light bites.
Spend Sunday afternoon perfecting your cocktail craft – or exploring your newfound interest in mixology – with Fever-Tree Canada. Take notes as Kaitlyn dives into Fever-Tree as a mixer: sharing with the audience the history behind the brand, the importance of using high-quality ingredients, suggested pairings and more. At the 4pm seminar, open to the public, further stimulate your palate and maximize your cocktail-tasting experience with finger foods crafted by the H2 culinary team. Cocktails will be mixed with Ketel One vodka, Tanqueray gin and Seedlip non-alcoholic spirit.

Experience Select Aperitivo at H Tasting Lounge
Wednesday, March 9
“La vita è bella!” as H Tasting Lounge joins forces with Select Aperitivo to bring you an evening of Italian cocktails, canapés and live music in our award-winning lounge, plus an authentic Italian dinner with wine pairings in our popular outdoor domes.
From 6 to 8pm, the lounge will come to life with the sounds of live music, laughter, the clinking of glasses and the tantalizing aromas of canapés. Savour the rich and playful profiles of Select Aperitivo cocktails, complemented by exquisite Italian-style bites, including Mini Italian Meatballs, Truffled Wild Mushroom Tartalettes and Bruschetta. Take in a cocktail demonstration, then use your newfound knowledge to recreate your own Select Aperitivo cocktails at home. Ticket price includes 2 cocktails. Additionally, step into one of HTL’s elegantly decorated outdoor domes and experience a decadent family-style Venetian dinner. The refined four-course menu features a selection of Salumi for the Antipasti, Risi e Bisi for the Primi, Osso Bucco for the Secondi e Contorni, and Tiramisu as the Dolce. Each course is expertly paired to elevate the flavour profile of the dish; relish a sophisticated Select Aperitivo cocktail to start, followed by two wine pairings and Montenegro Amaro to finish. Revel in an unforgettable night of Italian flavour and spice in the warmth of your own private dome. Please note reservations are limited and must be reserved in groups of six.
