Reconnect in the valley with a brand-new event series,
November 25 – December 3

What better way to mark the changing of the seasons than by reconnecting over food, wine, and live performances? The South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival gives visitors and locals alike the opportunity to experience all that and more, with a series of family-friendly festivities taking place November 25 to December 3, plus a flagship carnival-style event on November 26.

The South Okanagan Fire & Ice Festival is the first celebration of its kind, developed by the Osoyoos Indian Band, Oliver Tourism Association, and Destination Osoyoos in partnership with the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association as part of the 7 Celebrations happening throughout the Thompson Okanagan region.

Attendees will be treated to exceptional culinary experiences, artistic displays, live entertainment, and more throughout the fest, with the highly anticipated Fire & Ice Carnival at Spirit Ridge Resort being the highlight on November 26. This can’t-miss evening includes sips from local wineries, breweries, cideries, and distilleries, alongside curated food pairings, carnival-style performances, and more.

Signature Events:
Friday, November 25 | 1 – 8pm
Reconnect in the South Okanagan: Oliver
Location: Oliver Visitor Centre

Take in the annual Oliver Community Light Up put on by Oliver Parks & Recreation and the Oliver Business Association, along with a concert on Station Street with food trucks, artists, Indigenous performances, a fireworks display, and more. This event is free and open to all ages.

Saturday, November 26 | 12 – 6:30pm
Reconnect in the South Okanagan: Osoyoos
Location: Gyro Beach, Osoyoos

Enjoy a full day of live music, entertainment, artistic displays, food trucks, and more at Gyro Beach in downtown Osoyoos. This event is free and open to all ages.

Saturday, November 26 | 6 – 9pm
Fire & Ice Carnival at Spirit Ridge Resort, Osoyoos
Tickets: $65 per person (19+ event)

The flagship event of the festival, the Fire & Ice Carnival will feature samples from 16 artisan wineries, breweries, cideries, and distilleries from the South Okanagan, alongside curated food pairings. Enjoy amazing entertainment throughout the evening – with cocktails served “luge” style, roving performers by Kinshira Entertainment, live music by Brent Tyler, and much more.

Each ticket includes food pairings throughout the evening, plus five drink tickets for wine, beer, and spirit samples from local producers. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

Winter Market at District Wine Village
Location: District Wine Village, Oliver

Browse an array of local crafts, baked temptations, wine, craft beer, and more at the outdoor Winter Market, a free two-day event.

Friday, December 2 + Saturday, December 3
Osoyoos Artisan Christmas Market
Location: Pedestrian Square, Main Street, Osoyoos

Featuring a variety of artisan market vendors, Christmas music, food trucks, and beer and wine service, the Osoyoos Artisan Christmas Market takes place on December 2 (food and drink only), 4 – 7pm, and December 3 (all vendors) from 11am – 5pm. This event (admission by donation) is open to all ages.

Friday, December 2 | 6:30 – 8:30pm
Osoyoos Community Lite Up and Parade
Location: Main Street, Osoyoos

Get into the spirit of the holiday season with the annual Osoyoos Lite Up and Parade. The parade begins at 6:30pm on Main Street, and ends with a beachfront bonfire celebration complete with hot chocolate, games, and more at Gyro Beach at the bottom of Main Street. This event is free and open to all ages.
