This month, you don’t have to travel far to take your tastebuds on a global adventure. Vancouver’s H2 Kitchen + Bar and H Tasting Lounge.

H2 Distiller’s Dinner in Collaboration with Benriach and Glendronach
On January 17, immerse your palate in the rich, multi-layered flavours of scotch during H2 Kitchen + Bar’s second Distiller’s Dinner presented in collaboration with Benriach and Glendronach distilleries. During this five-course tasting affair, guests are invited to experience dishes by H2 Chef Homer Baisa, alongside select releases produced by two of Scotland’s world-renowned distilleries. The evening’s menu includes his inventive, yet approachable fare, including: Scotch Quail Egg paired with a welcome cocktail featuring Glendronach 10; Grilled Radicchio paired with Benriach ‘The Original Ten’; Chicken Fried Oyster Mushroom paired with Benriach ‘The Twelve’; Smoked Duck Breast paired with Glendronach ‘2009’; and Basque Cheesecake paired with Glendronach ‘Portwood’. Let Them Eat Cake! Weekend Afternoon Tea Returns to H Tasting Lounge
Weekends just got a little more delicious, with the sweet return of H Tasting Lounge’s Let Them Eat Cake! afternoon tea service. A nod to the Victorian and Belle Epoque eras of England and France, this delectable spread includes eight housemade sweet and savoury signatures prepared by Pastry Chef, Martha Ebro. Treat yourself to: Eton Mess Cheesecake; Brown Butter Almond Cake; Smoked BC Sockeye Salmon Blini; Pistachio Cassis Torte; and much more while sipping an exotic assortment of loose-leaf teas by O-Five Rare Tea. Winterlust Outdoor Dome Dining Continues Through March 12 at H Tasting Lounge
If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to visit Winterlust at H Tasting Lounge, it’s not too late! Reservations through March 12th have launched for this al fresco dining experience, providing views of the harbour and mountains within the comfort of your very own glass-panelled dome. Spend a frosty afternoon or a twinkling evening feasting on afternoon tea or west coast-inspired dishes with friends in one of six celestial-designed globes. Menu highlights include: Wagyu Beef Carpaccio; Caramelized Onion & Cheese Dip; Miso Marinated Sablefish; a flamed 50oz. Tomahawk Steak; and more, alongside creative cocktails. Minimum spend varies.
