Spring is definitely in the air. Our vineyard team has finished tying the vines, things are starting to green up in the vineyard, andwith the forecasted sunshine and heat in the days ahead, we’ll be watching for bud break soon. If you are on Facebook or Instagram, keep an eye out on
our posts for updates on what’s happening in the vineyard and winery at this time of year.

New Spring Releases

With the arrival of spring, we are also delighted to announce the release of our newest spring wines. These new releases are available in our tasting room and for sale online.

They are also being delivered to government and private liquor stores, Save-On-Foods stores, and restaurants around BC. We’re really pleased with the new stylish bottles for our Riesling and Rosé. We look forward to hearing your feedback on these wines.

Spring and Summer Hours

The Kitchen at Fort Berens
Due to staffing challenges, we have been unable to find sufficient staff to open The Kitchen at Fort Berens this summer. We understand that this may be disappointing to those who were looking forward to enjoying our food offerings.

We are committed to providing the best wine tasting experience possible and we will continue to focus on that. We are known for our award-winning wines, and you will still be able to sample a variety of wines in our tasting room. You can also enjoy the stunning views of the Lillooet area from our patio while sipping on your favourite wine. We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience. If you are aware of amazing folks who might be interested in working in our kitchen, please direct them here.

BC Wine Awards
We have some outstanding news to share. The results of the 2023 British Columbia Lieutenant Governor’s Wine Awards were recently announced. Our Cabernet Franc Reserve 2020 won one of only 13 Platinum Medals, awarded to the top wines of the competition. We haven’t yet released this wine, so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks on the release plan. Our Riesling Reserve 2021, which has also not yet been released, won a Silver Medal in the same competition.

April is BC Wine Month, so as we celebrate the final days of this very special month, we invite you to raise a glass of your favourite new release and say cheers. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
