As the venue’s exclusive new caterer, Peake is spicing things up at Jericho Beach

Beginning August 1, Peake Catering | Events will be the exclusive caterer for all events hosted at Brock House, Point Grey’s landmark event venue overlooking Jericho Beach. Peake at Brock House brings a new wave of delicious experiences to the table, making everything from family-style brunches to elaborate plated dinners possible. Whether the function calls for creative canapés, chef-attended action stations, or a multi-course menu, Peake’s creative culinary team is ready to transform each idea into a decadent reality.

A beloved Vancouver landmark with both architectural and historical significance, Brock House features 2.5 acres of waterfront property with distinct event spaces for any type of gathering. Its stunning gardens, glass atrium, marquee tent, second-floor outdoor patio and multiple dining rooms make pristine settings for hosting special occasions, meetings, and corporate or private events, with flexibility to accommodate 20 – 1,500 guests. Brock House and its beautifully-landscaped grounds welcome private bookings Monday to Friday after 4:30 p.m., and all day on weekends.

James Thornley, owner of Peake Catering | Events, brings more than 20 years of experience in events, cooking, and catering to the collaboration with this iconic venue. His talented culinary team, led by Executive Chef Michael Chan, boasts extensive global credentials, including mentorship under Michelin-starred chefs, and experience in major hotel chain kitchens, where a deeper knowledge of Western Canadian cuisine was developed. Chef Michael’s appreciation for the Pacific Ocean’s bounty translates to a repertoire of dishes that are vibrant, flavourful and West Coast inspired.
