Chef Nutcha Phanthoupheng and her team at Baan Lao Fine Thai Cuisine are excited to participate in this wonderful fundraising initiative, supporting education and empowerment for youth in Laos. Baan Lao will be supplying many of the delicious Lao food to be served at the event.
Growing up in Khon Kaen, Thailand, just a few hours from the border with Laos, Chef Nutcha Phanthoupheng has embraced Lao cuisine and culture from an early age. Now, living in Steveston with her husband of Lao heritage, she continues to celebrate and honour the Lao culture and the close connection between Thailand and Laos.

Highlights of the evening include:
Buffet dinner of Lao delicacies, generously prepared by Baan Lao Fine Thai Cuisine and Naka Bistro Lao & Thai Cuisine
Live entertainment, including a performance by Lao dancers
See traditional Lao costumes
Dancing
Special guest: Lao-born, Supha Xayprasith-Mays, philanthropist and candidate for governor of Arkansas

About Supha Xayprasith-Mays

Born in Ventiane, Laos, Supha Xayprasith-Mays is internationally recognized for her tireless support of social development and inclusion in Laos.

Emigrating from her home country at the age of six, Supha has forged a professional path as an accomplished, award-winning human resources professional with Walmart and other national companies. She was also appointed by the governor of Arkansas to serve as a Commissioner on the Martin Luther King, Jr., Commission Board, and is now the gubernatorial candidate to serve as Governor of Arkansas.

Her unwavering belief in inclusion and acceptance of everyone inspired her establish a media marketing consulting company, Inclusion Magazine, and her non-profit, Inclusion Job Inc.
