#2 Winery in Canada
We are thrilled to share the exciting results from the National Wine Awards, Canada’s largest and most respected wine competition. This month we were honoured to receive 2 Platinum, 6 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals earning us recognition as the #2 overall winery in Canada out of 230 wineries entered. With over 2,000 wines and ciders blind tasted by top-tier wine experts this is a huge achievement for our team.
Our approach to wine competitions has always been to only enter the National Wine Awards and one or two international wine competitions each year as we aim to see where we stand nationally and internationally.
Recently, we celebrated three Silver Medals and 90+ points for the three Pinot Noirs we submitted to the Decanter World Wine Awards, including 94 points for our 2022 Old Block Pinot Noir. More than 18,000 wines from 57 countries were submitted to this competition.
Additionally, our 2022 Old Main Rd Chardonnay earned a Silver Medal at Chardonnay-du-Monde early this year. Less than 200 medals amongst 579 Chardonnays from 33 countries were awarded.
We are so proud of these consistent accolades year after year showing the dedication of our winemaking and viticulture team – a huge hats off to our winemaker Chris Carson.
Currently, all of our 2022 wines are available for sale in our tasting room or in our online shop, however as inventory becomes lower some wines may remain exclusive to our wine club members.
We’re pleased to offer *free shipping across Canada on orders over $400 (some rural areas may be exempt). Many of our wines can also be found at fine restaurant establishments and liquor retailers through BC and AB.
