We, Sebastiaan and Roman, were inspired by the joy of drinking delicious wine in breathtaking locations. However, we realized that carrying a regular wine glass outdoors was risky due to its fragility, and drinking wine from plastic or steel cups compromised the taste. We saw a need for a high-quality portable wine glass that was both sturdy and elegant.

The world uses 500 billion plastic cups every year. With VinVoyage, we hope to decrease this number significantly. Our product promotes sustainability by encouraging the use of reusable, durable materials, reducing the reliance on disposable plastic cups.
Why not plastic cups?
Plastic cups can alter the taste of your wine and pose health risks. Microplastics are pervasive, found in the ocean, air, and even in our bodies. On average, people ingest about 50,000 microplastic particles annually by drinking from plastic cups, a number that can double when inhalation is included. These particles are harmful to both the environment and our health.
Why not steel cups?
Steel cups can change the taste of your wine as well, often giving it a metallic flavour. They also don’t let you see the wine’s color and clarity, which are important for enjoying wine. Observing the wine’s colour, clarity, and “legs” enhances the experience, and steel cups hide these details.

VinVoyage is versatile for any occasion and drink. Our patented case securely holds the glass, keeping it stable, clean, and protected with a silicone inlay to prevent breakage and heat. Please note, the VinVoyage case is designed for carrying and protecting the glass, not for transporting full glasses.
The revolutionary mechanism is engineered precisely to stay closed in the most extreme conditions, but at the same time it allows you to get access to the wine glass by twisting the two parts in the opposite direction. Simply put the glass back in and close it again, it’s just as simple as that.
Having refined our patented product design, we are now ready to move into production. We have partnered with a reputable manufacturing company known for producing quality food and beverage items for many large companies. Our production process involves creating molds and establishing a robust supply chain for the two stainless steel cases, two silicone inlays, glass, and packaging.
What’s next?
We’re dedicated to keeping our backers informed about the next steps and when they can expect their VinVoyage. With all preparations already completed, we’re ready to move swiftly.
We’ll receive the funds 14 days after the campaign ends, then immediately kick off the first production rounds. Following that, we’ll conduct a few trial runs to ensure VinVoyage is ready and reliable. Our aim is to start shipping out the first batches by the beginning of December. Ensuring all backers receive their VinVoyages in time for the holidays is our top priority, making it an ideal gift for someone special.
