HYATT REGENCY VANCOUVER INTRODUCES CLOUDSTREET,
A NEW DINING DESTINATION IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN
Cloudstreet Soft Opens, Highlighting Seasonal West Coast
Ingredients and Refined Hospitality
Hyatt Regency Vancouver has unveiled Cloudstreet, a new restaurant and gathering place inspired by the landscapes, flavours, and seasonal bounty of the Pacific Northwest.
Following a recent soft opening ahead of a grand opening celebration set for September, Cloudstreet now features a dramatically redesigned interior anchored by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking downtown Vancouver, offering one of the most expansive dining views in the city. The newly transformed space represents a significant investment in Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s culinary offerings, creating a vibrant, design-forward restaurant that welcomes both hotel guests and Vancouver locals.
Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Cloudstreet introduces a renewed culinary direction rooted in the flavours of the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on seasonality, local producers and a lighter, more expressive approach to hotel dining.
The redesigned dining room embraces natural light and contemporary West Coast design, pairing warm finishes and modern furnishings with an open, welcoming layout that transitions seamlessly from morning meetings and business lunches to evening cocktails and dinner service.
“Cloudstreet represents a significant investment in the future of Hyatt Regency Vancouver and our dining program,” says Patrick Gosselin, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Vancouver. “We’ve created a space that reflects both the energy of downtown Vancouver and the incredible ingredients, producers and culinary talent that define British Columbia.”
The Hyatt Regency Vancouver culinary team is led by Executive Chef Daniel Chiang, with the back-of-house brigade at Cloudstreet overseen by Chef de Cuisine Craig Sung. Sung earned his stripes as a Red Seal chef from Vancouver Community College and went on to sharpen his skills in hotel kitchens in Vancouver and Australia, earning accolades for culinary excellence and collaborating with Michelin-starred chefs along the way.
Most recently, Sung was Executive Chef at former West End locavore favourite Forage at the Listel Hotel, where he was a key part of kitchen operations since 2019 and helped it polish its sterling reputation for sustainable, locally focused cuisine. Sung brings that same hyper-local focus to his inaugural Summer Terroir menu at Cloudstreet.
“This menu is inspired by the wild beauty and quiet richness of the Pacific Northwest and is a celebration of the summer season at its peak — a time when ingredients are at their most vibrant, expressive and alive with flavour,” says Sung. “We work closely with exceptional local producers and growers who share our commitment to quality, sustainability and craft. Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, reflecting a deep respect for the land, waters and rhythms of the season. The result is a menu that feels both refined, effortless, fresh, layered and quietly indulgent.”
The new Cloudstreet menu, Summer Terroir, reflects this philosophy through a refined, seasonal approach that highlights West Coast ingredients, blending precise technique with a strong focus on local sourcing. The Cloudstreet bar complements the experience with signature cocktails, zero-proof beverages, craft beer, and a curated wine list featuring British Columbia wineries alongside select international labels.
