– New “CEO” Invites Guests to Take the Plunge –
This winter, Fairmont Waterfront is elevating its commitment to wellness and coastal-inspired luxury with the introduction of new winter activities. Designed to invigorate body and mind, these curated experiences offer guests a unique way to embrace Vancouver’s natural beauty while indulging in the hotel’s signature luxury. Beginning in November, guests can regularly participate in a Polar Plunge & Brunch, Sound Bathing, and Morning Runs—each designed to awaken the senses and provide rejuvenating moments amidst the stunning coastal surroundings.

Polar Plunge & Brunch
Dates: November 3, December 15, January 12, February 9
Time: 9:00 AM departure from Fairmont Waterfront
Cost: $95 per person
Take the plunge at Third Beach with Fairmont Waterfront’s exhilarating Polar Plunge experience, led by Jodi Francks, the hotel’s Plunge CEO (“Chill Experience Officer”, that is). After a refreshing dip in the chilly Pacific Ocean, guests will be treated to cozy towels, exclusive access to the hotel’s health club and heated rooftop pool, followed by ARC’s award-winning bottomless brunch. Fairmont Waterfront provides transportation to and from the beach, making it easy for guests to combine the excitement of a Polar Plunge with the indulgence of a luxurious brunch.
Sound Bathing
Dates: Every Saturday | 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Cost: Complimentary for registered hotel guests
Registration: Required through the Concierge Team
Guests are invited to experience deep relaxation and mental clarity through weekly sound bathing sessions, led by renowned sound healer Tianne Allan. These meditative sessions use quartz crystal bowls to create sound waves that help release distractions and restore balance. Tianne brings over 20 years of experience in yoga therapy and sound healing to this transformative practice, making it an ideal way for guests to unwind and find peace amidst the city’s energy.
Morning Runs
Dates: Every Tuesday & Thursday | 6:30 AM
Cost: Complimentary for registered hotel guests
For those seeking an active start to the day, Fairmont Waterfront offers guided morning runs along Vancouver’s picturesque seawall, through Stanley Park, and around the vibrant downtown streets. Open to all fitness levels, these 45–60 minute runs are led by a hotel team member. And for those who didn’t pack running gear, no problem—Fairmont Fit provides Reebok athletic wear to ensure morning workouts are fully equipped.
