Celebrate the Grey Cup and the entire CFL playoffs at the Lamplighter’s pop-up party
Be part of the festivities and enter for a chance to win one of three pairs of Grey Cup tickets
Grey Cup Week is Canada’s annual celebration of its special football culture, bringing fans from across the country to party. This year, Vancouver is hosting the Grey Cup for the first time since 2014 and the city’s oldest pub, the Lamplighter, is gearing up for an extended pop-up party beginning on the Division Semi-Final weekend and running all the way to an epic day watching the 111th Grey Cup on Sunday, November 17th with DJs, a beer garden, and more.
As part of the pop-up, three sets of tickets to the Grey Cup will be given away: one pair during the BC Lions Western Division Semi-Final on November 2nd, one pair through the Lamplighter’s Instagram account, and one pair pre game on Grey Cup Sunday so that two lucky fans can sprint from Gastown to BC Place to watch it live!
Entering to win tickets on November 2nd and 17th is as simple as being at the Lamplighter where everyone attending is entered into the draw. Extra entries can be earned with every Coors Light enjoyed during the party. The third pair of tickets will be awarded to one lucky Instagram fan and follower. And, of course, the pop up will be filled with football-friendly food and drink deals like buckets of Coors Light, sharing snacks, and Canadian classics like Ham Hock Poutine with Maple Flakes.
The Lamplighter is proud of its 100-year history serving thirsty Gastowners and visitors alike at the corner of Water and Abbott Streets. There’ll no better place to celebrate a great Canadian sporting tradition than at the city’s oldest pub where 13 HD TVs and two giant projector screens put every seat in the front row.
