Fall is here and so is a new wine!
We love this time of the year, harvest has just started and we’re delighted to see lots of lovely fruit starting to go into our press. With warmer days of summer coming to an end and crisp days of autumn on the horizon, now is the time to stock up on some comforting fall favourites and welcome a new one!
Rosé – Confiscated 2024 – The second of a limited series called “Confiscated”, where the border agents were keeping an especially close eye on us. We were fortunate to find some Washington grown grapes from Chelan (just 2 hours south of Osoyoos). Moon Curser of course smuggled grapes, which allowed us full control over the entire winemaking process.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, you may find this wine slightly more delicate and floral than other Rosé we’ve made in the past. This medium-light bodied rosé is driven by notes of cranberry, cherry blossom and rhubarb. Perfect on its own or with thyme-roasted chicken or salmon gravlax. Don’t let this get confiscated!

Our fall fireside fave
2022 Cabernet Sauvignon – A world-renowned variety; a fantastic East Bench location. This wine shows finesse and elegance, while boasting intense notes of black fruit, cigar box, blueberry and clove. Aged for 24 months in French oak it has a rich mid-palate with lovely texture; this wine is a showstopper Cabernet Sauvignon from the South Okanagan. This bold wine makes an excellent pairing choice for lamb ragout, oxtail risotto or after a hefty meal sitting beside the fireplace.

Our pick for your Thanksgiving meal 
2024 Roussanne Marsanne – A classic Rhône Valley combination of Roussanne and Marsanne grown and made on the Osoyoos East Bench. Floral and stone fruit notes with a kiss of oak; elegant and graceful. The kiss of oak and resulting subtle richness, with quince, white peach, and creamy notes make for a lovely white wine to pair with your turkey or ham dinner.
