Desi Indian Lounge is helping hosts bring the unique flavours of its beloved brand of Indian cuisine to small and large gatherings by introducing new Catering Menus and Private Chef Services to the fresh sheet at the Indian-inspired dining hotspot in the heart of Downtown Vancouver at 1355 Hornby Street.
Desi’s new catering and private chef services offer easy and delicious solutions for hosts looking for fully customizable dining experiences guaranteed to delight guests at small and large events ranging from reunions, corporate events and weddings to intimate dinner parties, festive celebrations and more.
Every Desi event experience includes a menu of freshly prepared appetizers, mains and dessert that can easily be customized to accommodate vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dietary restrictions as well as delivery and setup and the option to have professional serving staff on site to serve for events of 10 people and up.
Desi’s catering and private chef menus are priced from $20 to $31 per guest plus tax and gratuity and include a choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian appetizers like Tandoori Pear Salad, Shimla Kebabs and Kerala Chicken Pepper, Curry dishes such as Paneer Makhani, Chana Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken and more as well as dessert, along with sides of basmati rice, garlic or tandoori naan, chutneys, papadum, raita and salad.
The Catering Menus and Private Chef Services are the brainchild of Desi Indian Lounge Executive Chef Bal Ajagaonkar, who was born in the coastal town of Malvan in Western India and worked alongside Michelin-starred chefs in five-star hotels and restaurants across the globe before bringing his culinary talents to the helm of the Desi kitchen team.
