WINGS Announces the Return of its Legendary WINGS
Eating Contest for 25th Anniversary
To celebrate the 25 year milestone, the contest returns for the
first time since 2019 with a $500 championship cash prize
WINGS Restaurants & Pubs, home to Canada’s most award-winning wings, is thrilled to announce the return of its iconic WINGS Eating Contest for its 25th Anniversary celebration. After a six-year hiatus, the beloved competition is back – bigger and louder than ever.
Local competitors across all WINGS locations tested their appetite and heat tolerance in local qualifying rounds last month, with champions moving onto finals and receiving a $100 WINGS gift certificate, free wings for a year, and a spot in the WINGS Hall of Fame.
The finalists going head to head in the final showdown are:

- Connor Allan from Burnaby
- Adam Finley from Chilliwack
- Scott Watkins from Kelowna
- Jeff Labelle from Langley
- John Ouellette from Quesnel
- Sam Philips from Penticton
- Roberto Dipietrantonio from Port Moody
- Samir Bharti from Richmond
- Conner Southern from Surrey
- Sam Kozlowski from Tsawwassen
- Curtis McCall from Vancouver
- Jason Konstantopoulos from West Kelowna
The Ultimate WINGS Eating Champion will need to to finish two pounds of the classic Buffalo wings the fastest to take home a $500 cash prize, exclusive WINGS championship trophy, and bragging rights as the 2026 WINGS Eating Champion – 25th Anniversary Edition. The epic final championship will be hosted at WINGS Port Moody on February 26, 2026.
