Township 7 Vineyards & Winery Celebrates Final Year as Title Wine Partner
for IRONMAN Canada in Penticton
For the third and final year, Township 7 Vineyards & Winery proudly serves as the title wine partner for the IRONMAN Canada triathlon, part of the Vin Fast IRONMAN North America Series, set to take place in Penticton on August 25, 2024.
Since 2022, Township 7 has crafted exclusive wines to honor this elite display of human endurance. The partnership began when IRONMAN made its triumphant return to Penticton after a decade-long hiatus, a historic moment that Township 7 commemorated by creating two exclusive wines. As the race marks its final year in Penticton, the winery is once again releasing these highly sought-after, limited-edition wines to the public.
The first wine, “2023 Homecoming,” was named to celebrate the race’s return to Penticton. This white blend beautifully captures the essence of the Okanagan Valley. The second wine, “2022 T3,” a full-bodied red with silky tannins and robust complexity, symbolizes the third and final transition in the IRONMAN journey—from race to relaxation.
“It’s bittersweet to release these wines for the last time,” says Mike Raffan, General Manager of Township 7 Vineyards & Winery. “Having the race in our backyard has been a highlight of the summer, and we’ve been honored to serve as the title wine partner. We will certainly miss it in the years to come.”
