Spot prawn season has arrived at Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market, with a trio of feature offerings showcasing the prized local catch. Guests can enjoy fresh spot prawn sashimi served at the bar for $9 per piece, with the option to have the head fried for an additional $1, or opt for grilled spot prawns served with chimichurri sauce ($36 for four pieces). For those looking to cook at home, fresh spot prawns are also available through the shellfish market at $34 per pound.

B House

Spot prawn season is in full swing at B House Restaurant, showcasing two vibrant, seafood-forward dishes. The Firecracker Spot Prawns return as a seasonal favourite, featuring 1/2 lb of prawns ($39.99) in a rich chili garlic butter sauce with lobster stock, fresh herbs, marinated tomatoes, and house-made Japanese milk bread, a guest favourite that’s become a yearly staple. Also on offer is the B House Way Spot Prawn Ceviche, highlighting prawns in a warm citrus coconut sauce with herb oil, shallot vinaigrette, and crisp taro chips for a bright, layered take on the season’s prized catch.

Glowbal Restaurant


Spot prawn season is being celebrated at Glowbal Restaurant with a curated lineup of vibrant, West Coast–inspired dishes available across lunch and dinner menus. At lunch, guests can enjoy a Chilled Spot Prawns Salad featuring lemongrass chili emulsion, quinoa, kale, edamame, avocado, pickled vegetables, and fermented rice cracker, or Spot Prawns Radiatori with white asparagus, peas, and chardonnay cream sauce topped with herb crumbs.
