Clos du Soleil Appoints International Cellars
as Western Canadian Agency
Clos du Soleil is pleased to announce a new partnership with International Cellars, one of Western Canada’s leading independent fine wine agencies. Effective immediately, International Cellars will represent Clos du Soleil wines throughout Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
As Clos du Soleil celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the partnership marks an exciting new chapter for the winery. Since its founding, Clos du Soleil has established itself as one of Canada’s most respected producers, crafting wines inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux while expressing the distinctive character of the Similkameen Valley. Through certified organic vineyards, biodynamic farming practices, and a thoughtful, low-intervention approach to winemaking, the winery has earned recognition from critics and collectors both in Canada and abroad.
Together, International Cellars and Clos du Soleil look forward to building on the winery’s strong foundation, strengthening relationships with customers across Western Canada, and introducing these distinctive Similkameen wines to an even broader audience.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Clos du Soleil to the International Cellars family,” says Michael Shuster, President of International Cellars. “For more than 40 years, we’ve built our business by partnering with wineries that share our commitment to quality, authenticity and long-term relationships. Clos du Soleil has earned an exceptional reputation for crafting some of British Columbia’s finest wines, and we’re excited to work alongside their team to build on that success and introduce these outstanding wines to even more customers across Western Canada.”
Michael Clark, Managing Director and Winemaker at Clos du Soleil Winery, says, “I am truly excited about our partnership with International Cellars. Their dedicated teams will help us spread the word about our low-intervention, terroir-driven wines to new customers, and can help communicate the story of the unique lands we farm. Clos du Soleil and International Cellars share a common set of values, as well as a dedication to great wines. We look forward to many years of collaboration.”
