The Sequoia Company of Restaurants is giving families and friends the chance to gather around the table and give thanks with festive Thanksgiving features available Oct. 11th & 12th at its local hotspots Seasons in the Park, The Sandbar, Cardero’s and the Teahouse in Stanley Park.
At the Teahouse in Stanley Park, guests can bask in views of the waterfront and North Shore mountains as they tuck into an entrée of Traditional Turkey (hand-carved white and dark meat, mashed potatoes, traditional stuffing, Brussels sprouts, maple-glazed yams, cranberry sauce, gravy) for $40 per person plus tax and gratuity as well as two appetizers — Roasted Butternut Squash Soup(toasted pumpkin seed purée), $13.50 and Harvest Salad (roasted red beets, roasted yams, baby kale, crumbled feta, candied pecans, orange vinaigrette),$15 — and a dessert feature of Pumpkin & Chantilly (vanilla chiffon, pumpkin seed praline, pumpkin crémeux, Chantilly cream, gooseberry) for $14.50.
Over at Cardero’s, the waterfront destination will showcase a pair of festive starters in Butternut Squash Soup with pumpkin seed pesto ($13.50) and a Little Green Salad with shaved fennel, endive, radish and sherry vinaigrette ($13.50) in addition to a main course of Oven-Roasted Turkey (roasted light and dark meat, buttery mashed potatoes, herb stuffing, autumn vegetables, turkey gravy and traditional cranberry orange sauce) for $40 as well as a Pumpkin Cheesecake (Chantilly cream, caramel sauce) as dessert for $14.50.
At Granville Island’s The Sandbar on False Creek, friends and families can get festive and enjoy Lobster Bisque with crème fraiche ($14) or a Fall Salad(mixed greens, pickled beets, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, balsamic vinaigrette, $15) as starters and a Thanksgiving Weekend entrée of Oven-Roasted Turkey with hand-carved white and dark meat, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, traditional stuffing, roasted Brussels sprouts and honey glazed carrots for $40 as well as a sweet finish with Pumpkin Cheesecake (Chantilly cream, caramel sauce) for $14.50.
Meanwhile, the picturesque views at Seasons in the Park will be paired with a holiday weekend menu that features Butternut Squash Soup (crème fraiche, thyme) for $13.50 and a Harvest Salad (baby kale, roasted beets, crumbled feta, maple glazed yams, dried cranberries, sherry vinaigrette) for $15 as appetizers, an entrée course of Oven-Roasted Turkey (hand-carved white and dark meat, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry herb stuffing, Brussels sprouts, honey glazed carrots, cranberry sauce and gravy) for $40 and Pumpkin Crème Brûlée with candied pecans for dessert for $14.50.
Regular à-la-carte options at all four establishments will also be available both nights, as well as drink features that include a Lambrusco Spritz (Lambrusco, Camapari, lemon, soda), wine pairings that feature CedarCreek Riesling (6oz, $13.75, 9oz, $20.50, bottle $54) and Pinot Noir (6oz, $16, 9oz, $24, bottle $64), and a nightcap of Taylor Fladgate 10 Year Tawny for $11.
