Canadians have fallen in love with Malbec wines because they offer so much and cost so little. (usually) I’ve been a fan since I opened my first bottle of Pasqual Toso years ago. So I’m always on the lookout for another good Malbec to recommend but its much easier said than done. There’s some really poor Malbecs on store shelves but Zorzal Terroir Unico Malbec is a real gem. I’ve seen some highly regarded wine critics give this wine scores in the 90’s. I wouldn’t disagree. One taste for me and I was hooked. Intense flavours of cherries with a beautiful long finish. This malbec would match up with steak, stews or charcuterie.
