Sugar, Herbs & Spices: Characteristics in Wine – Tasting & Workshop Thursday, January 29

Ever wondered how the words used to describe wine actually match the smell and taste of wine? Get your wine savvy on with the last of three delicious Sniff & Sip wine tasting workshops for 2014/2015.

Join us for a sensory journey into wine as we sniff (and taste) our way through a variety of herbs and spices used to describe both red and white wines. We’ll then sniff and sip through a flight of some of our favourite wines to see if you can pick them out in the wines. You’ll come away with a deeper appreciation of these wine recommendations, but best of all, you’ll be able to make better wine choosing and buying decisions on your own. As for the sugar? Well, a little tip on sugar levels in wine so you can stay fabulous while also partaking in pleasure!

This is a small group tasting around a beautiful table in the heart of East Vancouver on Main Street. Don’t expect fancy schmancy or a boring lecture. Instead: proper stemware and linens, beautiful wines you’ll want to take note of, and a group of gregarious wine lovers and curious coming together for a social evening that engages, entertains, and enlightens.
