VanDusen Botanical Gardens to benefit from wine and song
Howard Normann of VanDusen Botanical Gardens and Julian Scholefield of Bottleneck Drive look forward to welcoming people to Wine In the Garden.
Summerland area wineries from the Bottleneck Drive Winery Association are headed to Vancouver to raise funds for one of Vancouver’s most treasured spaces.
On May 28, VanDusen Botanical Garden, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will welcome Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive member wineries and more than 75 wines to be poured alongside food pairings from Truffles Fine Foods, all while surrounded by the calm, green and floral beauty of the garden.
As the sweet and savoury wines are poured, guests will sway to live melodies of the Ari Neufeld, fresh from the Okanagan and now living in Vancouver. A silent auction will take place amid the glorious spring blossoms of the treasured VanDusen Botanical Garden and guests will gather to mingle with friends and family.
