Vancouver-raised and internationally-renowned pianist Avan Yu returns home to host and perform in the VSO’s very special celebration of theLunar New Year.This concert also features VSO School of Music Concerto Competition winner Lucy Wang, VSO School of Music Faculty members Karen Wong and Zhongxi Wu, percussionist Nestor Wu, and the Vancouver Zion Mission Choir, led by Stephanie Chung, and a string quartet of VSO members. And of course some Lion Dancers!
