Opens for Take-Out and Delivery
Menu from Vancouver’s newest breakfast, brunch and lunch spot is available via Door Dash, Tock and FromTo, today
Wentworth Hospitality is proud to announce the “opening” of its newest restaurant, Maxine’s Cafe & Bar, an elevated neighbourhood cafe and bar located at 1325 Burrard Street (between Harwood Street and Maxine Lane).
Originally intended to open over the holiday weekend, recent health orders have meant Maxine’s will not be welcoming guests inside to experience its magnificent interiors, inspired as much by the funky watering holes of Soho as the corner bistros of Europe. Instead, Maxine’s has been forced to (here’s that word again) “pivot” and launch the city’s newest early-day eatery via take-out and delivery platforms (all apps including Tock, FromTo and DoorDash will be live within the day).
Finally, something truly new to add to the take-out and delivery options!
Executive Chef Bobby Milheron and Chef de Cuisine Levi Johnston’s take-out / delivery menu has been re-worked to feature elevated breakfast, brunch, and lunchtime favourites that travel well. And, like its sister restaurants, Homer Street Café and Tableau, Maxine’s boasts carefully conceived packaging to ensure peak flavour and freshness.
Early mornings from 8am to 9am, Maxine’s will feature caffeinated beverages, a selection of house-made baked goods, and a choice of three breakfast sandwiches (Back Bacon and Soppressata, Smoked Salmon, and Avocado and Egg).
From 9am to 3pm, Maxine’s will offer its complete food program (with select bottles of wine for sale beginning at 10am. The menu offers straightforward morning dishes such as The West End (2 eggs any style), Benedict, Gruyère Omelette, Brioche French Toast, and overnight Bircher Muesli. It’s also complemented by such later-day delights as Maxine’s Burger, Steak & Eggs, and Wild Salmon. Among the classics are a few unexpected dishes such as the Chickpea Falafel Bowl and a Burrata with asparagus and cured egg.
Maxine’s looks forward to welcoming you to the West End’s premier café & bar when restrictions are lifted or construction on our 24-seat patio is complete, whichever comes first.
