Join us in a regional food and wine celebration for Slow Food Thompson-Okanagan’s Interactive Chefs-and-Winemaker’s Dinner at 7 pm at the Watermark Beach Resort in beautiful Osoyoos.
Dinner tickets must be purchased ahead of time and are $75 per person. This is a fundraiser for our Slow Food activities throughout the year. We have a number of regional chefs and wineries donating their time – their expertise and their passion. Come early and enjoy a browse through our annual Market of Taste on Main Street in Osoyoos from 1 pm to 4 pm, followed by our Wine Garden from 3 to 6 pm.
The Market of Taste will showcase products that personify the Slow Food mantra – that they are “good, clean, fair,” that they taste good, that they are grown and/or produced cleanly, that the farmer is paid fairly and that they are indicative of our region. Stroll this “street market,” tasting and purchasing quality foods and products of our region.The event will bring together artisan producers and wineries to create an impressive marketplace for the consumer.
